Wine and Cheese Pairing- 4/10

The last of the wine and cheese pairings was done at home this time- along with my family as all of the restaurants continue to stay close. I tried to pick out a variety of cheeses and wines that I had never tried before and also spoke to the wine connoisseur at the grocery store who helped me with some great recommendations. Wine #1:  JULES LAROSE BLANC DE BLANCS BRUT SPARKLING WINE Variety-  Colombard, Macabeo, Malvoisie, Chenin Blanc Region: Vin Mousseux Country: France Year: 2019 Cheese pairing #1: Triple Creme Brie  Always a fan of sparkling wines but had only had experience in the past with champagne, I was excited to try a new varietal wine and brut pairs well with almost all Brie cheese, according to Wine Folly. I was not disappointed. The softness and butter like texture of the mild cheese paired well with the extra bubbly and semi dry wine, and felt like a celebratory meal rather than just an everyday wine and cheese appetizer. Wine #2: Torraio
